Chicago Bound

We left today for Chicago for one week! Krista traveled with us and it was a breeze getting through the airport. We've never seen McCarren so empty actually. Our flight was delayed an hour and half so we grabbed some lunch at Chili's in the airport before boarding.

As advised, I nursed Cooper during take off and landing to help with the pressure. Most people comment on how alert he is for his age and so he had a lot to take in at the airport. He didnt sleep that much but was very content and actually fun to travel with! We left our house at 1pm and got to my parents house at midnight....he only cried for a total of about 5 minutes the whole time. A+ for Cooper!

My mom graciously set us up with many of the familiar things we have at our house for Cooper plus lots of wonderful toys. We each got our own pair of slippers :)
