Pentwater, Michigan is quite a trip from Las Vegas and even more so with a baby! We found out Friday morning that our flight was delayed and we'd miss our connection. So we had a tough decision to make on the alternative options with times and airports. We decided to fly into Lansing instead of Grand Rapids. It all worked out and we got to the house about 5 hours later than planned. Unfortunately, Cooper got a fever midway through the trip. This made for a sleepy Cooper but we felt terrible. The next day Cooper still had a fever and most slept and ate. That night his fever broke and Sunday he was like a new kid. Thankfully, he is very chill when hes sick and makes for a good patient. Monday our flight was delayed and again would miss our connection so we drove past Grand Rapids to Lansing. I guess Grand Rapids airport did not want to see us! The flights when pretty good and we were happy to be home.
It was a great time in Pentwater- the weather was great! It was a completely different trip with Cooper... We barely went to the beach and hung a lot at the house and on the deck. Almost everyone in the family made the trip- I think we had 35 people there! It was some great family time!!! Its so fun to see my cousins and 2nd cousins play with Cooper. Its just like when I played with them when they were little.
