My mom came on October 4th and stayed for 10 glorious days. We were sad to see her go today. She was such a big help and deserves a million thank yous! She did all the shopping, cooked all our meals and took good care of us in many other ways. I’m so happy she could spend some great quality time with her new grandson.
We planned for her to come as soon as I went into labor and hoped she would make it to Vegas from Chicago by the time the baby was born. It couldn’t have worked out more perfectly…She got in town on the day of our planned induction and met us at the hospital Monday night. Plus, she was able to get her flight on miles!
It’s great to have my sister, Krista, living in Vegas. Unfortunately, we live 45 minutes away from each other but that didn’t stop her from coming to the hospital and to our house as often as she could. (She has her hands full with a large class at a new grade level this year.) We thank her for all the meals she made and all her help.
